Heryee, heryee! Welcome all to the one and only Steampunk Writing Competition! If you like whimsical machines, fanciful worlds, and time travel, this is the place to be to enter your steampunk story! The story has to be based on the prompt below, and all entries will be sent in a pdf form on my personal chat with your name and title of your story, and are limited to 1,000 to 1,500 words. The winning story will be expected to have completely original ideas and shall we say, style, and the best, most intriguing plot line you can imagine! The winner's entry will be announced on March 15th and be posted for all the world to see. All entries must be turned in by March 13th. If you have any questions about the competition, please let me know, and may the best story win!
Prompt: You are a steampunk inventor with a disability, and you discover a crystal which has the power of time travel, which could help you save the kingdom from it's destruction.

( P.S. Grammar is not counted in this competition, however the story itself is considered by how well the plot was executed and for bonus points, style and imagination, and expressive and fancy words used rightly deserve extra points! )
