Help!!!!

Hello! So I’ve been recently working on another writing project recently, and I’ve been world building this world and suddenly I just have that terrible and dreaded disease every writer hates: writer’s block. Yep, all wheels on the plot and world building have stopped and are moving at an incredibly slow rate. I know I should be patient for inspiration, but if there’s anything I can do, please tell me your tips for overcoming writer’s block and your personal experience. Anything is appreciated.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not Writer'sBlockitosis! That's awful. Well, I'll give my two cents worth of advice: chat with a friend (ideally a writer) about your plot or world building and see if they have any ideas to help get your inspiration flowing again. It works for me every time.

Hope this helps!

You feel that intense jittery anticipation as you go on and then you suddenly have that lurch in your stomach as you go down that incline, screaming at the top of your lungs like you’re gonna die( I love rollercoasters and this is pretty much an exampl…

Deep POV Dive: Lesson Eight

Welcome back to Deep POV Dive! We’re on the last lesson, and wow what a journey it has been. I hope you’ve enjoyed learning along with me on this writing course as I have. I have learned so much and I am so excited to apply all of this knowledge to my future projects. So, for our last lesson today, we’re gonna wrap up this series by rounding up our writing skills to learning how to write tight. That’s right. If you recall all those examples I have provided throughout the series, the difference between a regular, limited third person paragraph and a deep POV paragraph is the word count is larger. Deep POV provides more insight on how the character feels, using metaphors and their character voice to express and describe the situation around them. It takes so much longer to do that than…
