What does your character do in response to their own fears? Do they avoid them? Take a deep breath, keep calm, and face it? Do they have any other methods?
Example: Comet and Moonshine (side-characters and they’re both nine years old) are afraid of the dark. Or rather, the things that could be lurking there. Comet’s older brother, Storm, told him that if he hears a strange sound, make an even weirder noise to assert dominance. So throughout their journey, whenever it gets dark and something goes bump in the night, the two of them start making ‘ghost’ noises and screeching and howling until they’re satisfied.
These prompts are great! I just discovered these! This is fun! I think for my character, she would react to her own traumatic fears by acting like she isn’t afraid, or stuffing it down, acting like it’s no big deal.
That's hilarious!
